Well Within Therapy
Hello! My name is Katie, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over ten years’ experience supporting people navigating some of life’s most difficult and beautiful parts.
I primarily work with people navigating anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions, relationships challenges, peri- and postpartum stages, and trauma. A large part of my work has been with individuals and families impacted by human trafficking (sex and/or labor) and other forms of exploitation and harm. While my approach is largely rooted in evidence-based treatments, every therapy is tailored to the person in front of me. I firmly believe every person and their experience is unique and deserves to be understood as such. I aim to understand the larger systems that shape who and where we are today.
In our work together, I will strive to provide a safe, affirming, and supportive environment for you to navigate, process, and explore your emotions and experiences. Through the therapeutic process, I hope you will strengthen the insights and skills inherent to you and develop others that support whatever change you seek. I hope you will feel better equipped to confront and manage life’s challenges, as well as wholly celebrate the wins!

Therapy is meant to be a safe and supportive space for you to explore, process, and navigate whatever may feel too heavy or complicated to approach alone.
There are many benefits to therapy, including, but not limited to, the development of healthy communication skills and boundaries, increased resilience and resourcefulness, a better understanding of emotions, a stronger mind-body connection, recognizing and appreciating your own strength, and more.
Whether you enter therapy for the short or long haul, my hope is that you are able to hone the skills and insights inherent to you and gain additional tools that will aid in living a life you enjoy.
Currently offering telehealth sessions only. Insurance plans not accepted at this time. Contact me for information on session fees and sliding scale options.

Evaluations are available for individuals seeking asylum and/or other forms of immigration relief.
Psychological evaluations can provide evidentiary support for those seeking protection by offering a comprehensive account of a person’s biological, psychological, and social experiences. In some cases, mental health diagnoses and treatment recommendations may also be included.
Important distinction: Psychological evaluations are not the same as psychological testing, which involves the administration of various measures to determine a person’s functional capacities.
Evaluations are available by video or in-person, as needed. Contact me for information on evaluation fees and pro-bono options.
